A photovoltaic installation is composed by a generating group, is formed by an extension of photovoltaic solar panels, a regulator of load, an accumulating group and an investor.

During the hours of insolation, the photovoltaic panels produce electrical energy in form of DC that is stored in the storage cells. At the moments of power consumption, the storage cells provide this one electricity, having to be transformed into alternating current by the investor, to the receivers.

He is the one in charge to transform the energy that arrives to us from the sun in electrical energy. For it one is based on the photoelectric effect, and needs that the rays of the sun affect their surface perpendicularly.

Load regulator

Storage cell
It stores electrical energy that, like the batteries of a car, can give back when the user requires it.

Investor
Its purpose is the one to transform the originating DC of the storage cells into alternating current for the domestic use.

What is the photoelectric effect?

The photoelectric effect is him that it allows the direct conversion of rays of the sun (light) in electricity.
